Fastned is Europe’s largest fast-charging company, with fast-charging stations at prime locations in the Netherlands, Germany, the United Kingdom, Belgium, and Switzerland. Fastned’s goal is to establish 1,000 fast-charging stations at prime locations, using only solar and wind energy.

Fastned's question:

How can we encourage investors to contribute to the next phase of growth of our sustainable charging network?

Goals & challenge

Fastned wanted to attract new investors within a short period of time through a campaign that clearly communicated both the story and the return on investment.

The challenge lay in the speed: everything had to be live within two weeks, from strategy to implementation.

And it had to be convincing. Aimed at a target group that is critical but open to sustainable investments. Potential bondholders are experienced investors who pay close attention to transparency, credibility and speed of execution. So the campaign had to do more than just attract attention. It had to convince people that investing in sustainable charging infrastructure is both promising and reliable.

The approach

The team worked rapidly towards a fully integrated campaign. Several creative approaches were tested to find the right balance between financial return and sustainable impact, precisely the combination that investors are sensitive to.

A dedicated landing page translated this story into clear benefits and elements that immediately inspired confidence: return figures, independent audits and Fastned's growth plan. Parallel to this, a smart email flow was set up that adapted to the behaviour of the recipient. For example, a visitor who was just exploring the site received a different follow-up than someone who was already considering signing up.

Thanks to close collaboration between strategy, creation, development and marketing automation, every day was put to good use. Each team member knew exactly where his or her contribution would increase conversion.
